Princo
Instruments, Inc., has reduced the price on its L3610 NULL-KOTE
analog RF Level Transmitters.
The
new price, at $995,
makes these units the most competitive high-stability, high-accuracy,
universal RF level controls on the market with FM approval.
Adding to their versatility is the fact that they can be
field configured to measure the level of virtually any process material
from low dielectric materials such as refined oil to highly
conductive slurries.
Such a
wide range of applications often has proved troublesome for many RF
instruments. |
|
The
L3610 transmitter is a high sensitivity, extremely stable instrument,
with proprietary enhanced NULL-KOTE circuitry
-- providing accurate readings even when conductive materials
build up on the sensing probe. Other
novel features include RF immunity, exceptional temperature stability,
conformal coated circuit boards, factory pre-calibration, and built-in
self-diagnostics. These
level transmitters are FM-approved for Class I, II, III, Div. 1, Groups
C, D, E, F & G/NEMA 4 and are provided with Princos unique
10-year warranty.

FM
approval helps extend the applications suitability of the transmitter in
both hazardous as well as non-hazardous areas.
This is because users report that the process in a non-hazardous
area may change, and users want reassurance that the equipment purchased
today will not be obsolete should the process change.

The
transmitters are easily calibrated using non-interacting zero and span
adjustments. The universal design allows the user to re-configure or
re-range the transmitter in the field.
Built-in diagnostics provide assurance that the system is
operating properly.

The
L3610 provides a standard 4-20mA dc signal that is proportional to the
process level, and is field convertible for a reverse span of 20-4mA.
A variety of sensing probe designs is available, including Teflon
and Kynar sheathed rigid probes and cable-type flexible probes.

Princo
has designed the L3610 with features that speed and simplify
installation, such as the probe and electronics in a single, integral
unit; "easy-on" sensing probes that self connect without the
need for special tools or trouble-prone connectors; readily accessible,
top-mounted, clearly-marked terminals with plenty of wiring room; and
pre-calibration at the factory at no extra cost.
Other standard features that many manufacturers charge extra for
include an explosion-proof, weather-proof NEMA 4 enclosure, and
ruggedized, conformal coated ("tropicalized") electronics.
