Protect the
integrity of your vacuum system |
McLeod Vacuum Gauges
are
considered the industry standard for vacuum, low-pressure measurements.
Unlike electrical-type gages, they require no
additional calibration or adjustments.
The
McLeod Gage is
ideal for measurements of pressure below
10-4 torr (10-4
mmHg).
By compressing a
sample of low pressure gas to a sufficiently high pressure, and obtaining the
compressed pressure from a standard manometer, the gage then calculates the original
low pressure through Boyle's law.
|
Extremely Accurate, Absolute Low-Pressure Readings |
Eliminating the need for batteries,
electrical connections or auxiliary equipment, McLeod Vacuum Gages
perform with a high degree of accuracy.
The completely self-contained
gages are unaffected by error sources from primary sensing and recording
devices, or fluctuations in the power supply for instrumentation and
control. |

Model 276-BB |
Exacting control of critical component
dimensions and volumes, in: conjunction with precision assembly and
testing assure a readout accuracy within 1-1/2% of the total logarithmic
scale length.
Additionally, all models with a chemical
trap are designed to provide accurate readings of total pressure in both
laboratory and commercial applications over a wide range of vacuum (0.01
micron to 50 millimeters).
Custom master calibration and
certification are available at a nominal charge. |

Model 276-AC |
Quick and Easy Operation |
Portable, rugged, easy-to-use and maintain, McLeod
Vacuum Gages connect directly to your vacuum processing system. Simply connect
the gage directly to your vacuum processing systems using the provided
high-vacuum tubing and leave it "on-the-line" to assure fast, convenient
monitoring of instrument accuracy.
What's more using McLeod Vacuum Gages is as easy as reading a thermometer. To
take a reading, merely turn the gage from the horizontal to the vertical
position. Readings can be taken quickly in succession. For example, the Model
276-AA requires just about five seconds for a single reading. The gages can also
be used for routine measurements in production facilities.
